Chloé Simpson

Creativity has been a part of me since I was born; having come from an artistic family where my inherited gift was encouraged. My educational background involves a BTEC National in General Art and Design and a degree in Textiles and Surface Decoration, amongst others.

I am now currently training with the IATE (Institute of Art and Therapy in Education) at the London Art House in Islington, where creativity and imagination are the core focus.

The work I have done whilst training to become an Art Psychotherapist has been invaluable to me and has become an integral part of my life. It has allowed my true self to be discovered and given a voice, as well as facilitating a freedom of expression that otherwise could be very difficult to articulate.

I would describe my work as a result of spontaneity; I approach the canvas with an open mind and allow the images to evolve organically. In turn, each picture has brought me great pleasure and satisfaction - as well as a story to be discovered.

I do hope you enjoy my paintings as much as I have enjoyed creating them and do keep looking, as there will be many more to come!
